Manufacturing

Sunfrost NZ Ltd uses a propriety fruit base system developed and manufactured by ENZAFOODS New Zealand Limited in a Kosher & HACCP Certified factory. This is then blended with other all fruit purees and all fruit products to provide a range of delicious and original flavours to suit flavour profiles in a world market. There is no added sugar.

Packaging and Distribution

The blended product is packaged individually ready for distribution. These pre-measured Sunfrost bars allow perfect serve portion control. In addition the ability to ambient store and distribute a frozen confectionary reduces both risk and cost from the distribution chain. Freezing at point of sale allows the retail operator to have minimal frozen storage capacity.

Point of Sale

The Sunfrost retailer places a Sunfrost frozen fruit bar into the purpose-built in-store machine to make the final Sunfrost product; an all fruit based “sorbet” or confection in a cone or a tub. The customer will appreciate that the served Sunfrost does not melt rapidly.

The whole process has been designed so that it can be scaled up or down to suit a strategic partners’ needs.
